18-Hole Tom Jackson Design
Aberdeen Country Club is the only Carolinas recipient of Golf Digest’s prestigious medallions for both Value and Service in 1998, and awarded 4 STARS in Golf Digest’s “Places to Play 2006”.
Open in 1989, Aberdeen Country Club is located along a protected riverfront preserve, teeming with wildlife. Aberdeen transports players into the game of golf in the real Scottish tradition with its 18-hole Tom Jackson design that inserts a Scottish golf feel to the northern end of South Carolina’s Grand Strand.
All three of Aberdeen’s nines are packed with wildlife, a product of the course’s proximity to the Waccamaw riverfront preserve. The property also includes a minimal number of nearby home sites, allowing players the opportunity to concentrate on the game and the stunning environment. That focus could be key, as rolling fairways dip and dive around water. Recently renovated sand traps then protect many of the Tif-Eagle Bermuda greens.
This Myrtle Beach golf course’s three nines (Highlands, Meadows, Woodlands) will take you into the game of golf in the true Scottish tradition. All three nines are reminiscent of those early days of golf. Tucked among towering hardwoods and the Waccamaw River, this golf course features extensive mounding, wide landing areas, and lush bermuda greens.
“All the holes we played had the grooming care of what you would find at a private country club. Excellent pace of play. Very receptive greens with true roll. A definite must play for a very reasonable price.”

“The course is in wonderful condition and is a fairly challenging course. You can usually get very good rates as well for this course. The staff is friendly so if you get the chance it is worth playing all three nine hole courses they have to offer you will not be disappointed.”
