FGI Teams Up With Conway Medical Center To Offer Vaccines at Three Myrtle Beach Area Golf Courses

Founders Group International is partnering with Conway Medical Center to offer Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine at three of its golf courses.

On May 3, people will be able to receive the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at Long Bay Golf Club from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and at Wild Wing Plantation from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. People who receive the first vaccine will be scheduled to get the second dose on May 24.

On May 4, Litchfield Country Club will also provide the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while scheduling the second shot for May 25.

Golfers must register in advance for an appointment. To schedule a date to receive a vaccination, call 843-282-2867 or email hr@foundersgolf.com.

The Pfizer vaccine is 95 percent effective in preventing symptomatic Covid-19 infection.

“The fight against the Covid-19 pandemic has been a long one, but we can see light at the end of the tunnel and vaccinations are a vital part of the nation’s effort to return to normal,” FGI President Steve Mays said. “The local community was extraordinarily good to us during 2020, and this is a way for us to try and say thank you. We are welcoming employees, their families, golfers and guests to come to Long Bay, Wild Wing or Litchfield to receive a vaccination. We want to help protect our community and we are certainly appreciative of the Conway Medical Center’s help in making this happen.”
