Grande Dunes Emerges As One of Myrtle Beach’s Best Meeting, Wedding and Event Spaces
Grande Dunes Resort Course has long enjoyed a reputation as one of Myrtle Beach’s finest layouts, and now it’s among the area’s premier meeting and event venues as well. In the summer of 2022, the property underwent a renovation project that included new greens and bunkers for the acclaimed Roger Rulewich design, but the overhaul of the clubhouse was even more impactful, relatively speaking.
The complete reimagining of the clubhouse opened up the facility, making it a natural destination for an assortment of events. Highlighting the versatility of the property, Grande Dunes hosted a 200-person, Habitat for Humanity fundraiser, catering food and serving drinks to civic-minded residents who wanted to aid a great cause and have a good time.
Whether it’s a fundraiser, a corporate meeting, a wedding or a party, Grande Dunes offers the luxury and adaptability to host nearly any type of event. In addition to a more welcoming interior, the property greatly expanded its outdoor seating, allowing people to enjoy panoramic views of the course and even glimpse the Intracoastal Waterway.
The outdoor area is also designed to make people feel comfortable no matter the weather. Outdoor fans are perfect during the summer months, while fire pit tables are ideal for a cool fall evening.
Complementing the upgraded facilities was the opening of Terrazza 19, the new onsite restaurant that caters to golfers and the public in search of an outstanding meal. The expanded menu includes an assortment of wraps, flatbreads, burgers, salads and more, in addition to an equally attractive dinner menu that has left diners raving.
“Had cocktails and dinner on the deck with a stunning view of the golf course,” gushed Diana in a 5-star Google review. “Food was delicious, our server was impeccable and spot on with all of her recommendations. Definitely a place you want to check out!”
The golf course will always be the centerpiece at Grande Dunes – it was ranked among America’s 100 greatest public layouts, after all – but one of Myrtle Beach’s most elegant properties is now equally appealing to meeting planners, wedding planners and even residents in search of a memorable restaurant.
